
Who is eligible to attend?
MHRN organised training courses are open to: Hub Managers, Clinical Studies Officers, Hub service user and carer representatives, SURGE, research and clinical teams of MHRN-adopted studies, other staff associated with MHRN-adopted studies, MHRN related staff (Hub Committee members etc), MHRN Clinical Research Group members. Invitations will be extended to staff from other topic-specific research networks as appropriate when space permits.

Recruitment Facilitation Workshop series: The MHRN organises workshops to share experiences of working on MHRN-adopted projects; assess what makes a positive difference to recruitment (both clinician & participant); share good practice for the full range of mental health research study types (not just trials); collate future aims, including SURGE activities and service-user involvement.

Writing good newsletters: The MHRN has arranged a workshop on how to write and produce publicity items, such as newsletters and study leaflets. Use of Ethics & R&D IT Systems Training Day: ran in March 2007. As a one-off bespoke MHRN course MHRN commissioned INFONETICA to deliver this course to coincide with changes being made to the COREC process. The objectives of this course were 'to be able to access, manage and submit the online Ethics and R&D approvals forms'. To view the programme click here.
