There are many online training courses designed for physicians, nurses, and other member of clinical research teams and provided free of charge such as the following National Cancer Institute courses:
i) 'Human participant protection education for research teams', which take 2-3 hours to complete.
ii) 'Clinical Research Training Course', which takes 4-5 hours to complete;
Although some aspects differ to UK procedures these are good background courses which staff involved in research are encouraged to complete. On successful completion the participant can print off a completion certificate.
